  • Gain Insight into Electronic Medical Record and Registry Data Using Predictive Analytics by Jamie Reiter, PhD, Chief Executive Officer and founder of MedEvaluate

With the abundance of electronic medical record and registry data available to hospitals, payers, and other healthcare organizations, it can be overwhelming to figure out how to best utilize all of this valuable information. Predictive modeling allows for a more structured and efficient method of determining variables that influence a particular outcome, versus standard comparative analyses, and enables organizations to make proactive decisions based on actual data. This webinar will review and provide examples of some of the more common methods of predictive modeling, such as regression, as well as a more advanced technique known as CHAID, which is often used in data mining. It is hoped that attendees will gain an appreciation for the value of predictive analytics, understand the basics of methods such as regression and CHAID, as well as be motivated to explore questions they may want answered via predictive analytics.
